Raiders to Honour Remembrance Day

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan - Two teams from the United States Division will visit Prince Albert this week among the three Western Hockey League games scheduled.

Here is the Raiders itinerary this week:

Monday, November 8

Practice 1:00 - 3:15 PM - Art Hauser Centre

Face Off on 900 CKBI - 6:00 PM

Drew Wilson, voice of the Raiders is joined by Kalen Kovich as co-host for the weekly phone in show featuring Raider General Manager and Head Coach Bruno Campese. Fans can call 764-2524 or email faceoff@rawlco.com.

Tuesday, November 9

SGI Project Forward Presentation at Queen Mary School - 9:30 AM

Nathan Deck, Austin Bourhis, James Bettauer and Jonathan Parker will visit Grade 6 and 7 students. Deck and Bourhis will relate their experiences from what they saw in one of Canada's most notorious drug areas during the team's recent road trip to Vancouver.

Project Forward was sponsored by the RCMP.

Wednesday, November 10

Seattle Thunderbirds at Raiders - 7:00 PM

A colour party from the Royal Canadian Legion will honour War Veterans and those currently serving our country in a pre-game on ice ceremony. It is the Thunderbirds only visit in two seasons.

Thursday, November 11

Practice 1:00 - 3:15 PM - Art Hauser Centre

Friday, November 12

Raiders at Swift Current Broncos- 7:00 PM

Saturday, November 13

Portland Winterhawks at Raiders - 7:00 PM

See the WHL leading Winterhawks in their only visit in 2 seasons. Portland features 2 of the top 5 players selected in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft (Ryan Johansen-4th overall by Columbus and Nino Niederreiter-5th by the Islanders).
