
Raiders To Honor Military Personnel

ROCHESTER, N.Y.- The Rochester Raiders will celebrate Military Day this Saturday afternoon at 2:00pm when they battle the New Jersey Revolution at the Blue Cross Arena. All active, retired and reserved military personnel can purchase discounted tickets for only $12 with their military ID (regularly $15). For this week only the Raiders have also announced a lowering of ticket prices for children 12 and under to only $5 (regularly priced at $10).
"In today's day and age the military is very important to our country and it is important that we honor these men and women and celebrate all of their efforts," commented Raiders co-owner Dave McCarthy. "It is also important that we get the youth in Rochester excited about indoor football, it is such an increasingly popular sport and we want to make it affordable to bring entire families out to watch some high quality football."
The Raiders are coming off a key western divisional win against the Marion Mayhem by a score of 52 to 19 this past weekend in Marion, Ohio. Rochester is now 3-0 this season and are looking to repeat at Continental Indoor Football Champions. The Raiders are returning home this week to face the New Jersey Revolution at 2:00pm at the Blue Cross Arena. Next week, April 19th the Raiders will play the Saginaw Sting at 7:30pm in which Former Buffalo Bill and Hall of Fame Quarterback Jim Kelly will be on hand for Hunter's Hope Night. A proceed of tickets will be donated to the Hunter's Hope Foundation.
