
Muskegon Thunder To Host Post Game Party Saturday

MUSKEGON - The Muskegon Thunder of the Continental Indoor Football League will host a post game dance party after their home game against the Fort Wayne Freedom on Saturday, April 12. The dance will take place in the L.C. Walker Arena Annex adjacent to the playing field beginning at the conclusion of the game and lasting until 12:30 a.m. Only those 18 years of age and older will be allowed entrance.
Admission for the dance is free upon presentation of a ticket from that night's game. Without a game ticket, the admission will be $5.00. There will be live music by the band Decades and food and beverages will also be available for purchase.
In conjunction with the "Singles Night" theme at the game that night, singles are encouraged to purchase tickets in Section 106 where there will be exclusive giveaways throughout the game, including many, many gift certificates.
During the game, fans can participate in a silent auction to bid on select Muskegon Thunder players to accompany the winning bidders to the dance that evening. Available players will have their picture along with a bid sheet posted at the Storm Cellar souvenir stand on the concourse. Bidding begins when the doors open at 6:30 p.m. and continues until the beginning of the fourth quarter.
During the fourth quarter, winners will be announced and they will then report back to the Storm Cellar to make payment and receive a special pass identifying their Thunder player. After the game, winners will meet their Thunder players in the end zone for a picture and then accompany them to the dance.
Horse-drawn carriage rides under the moonlight will be available throughout the evening.
