Prince Albert SK- The Prince Albert Raiders have signed their first pick in the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft, goaltender Ian Scott, to a WHL standard contract.
"We are very excited to have Ian under contract and have him be a part of our organization," said Raiders Director of Player Personnel Dale Derkatch.
Scott, selected in the first round, 9th overall, spent last season with the Calgary Northstar Sabres, recording a 3.12 goals against average and .916 save percentage. The 6'2" netminder from Calgary earned South Division Top Goaltender honours in the Alberta Bantam Hockey League.
"We are extremely pleased to have Ian under contract. He is a talented a goaltender and will be a big part of our future moving forward," added Raiders General Manager Bruno Campese.
