
Raiders Reduce Roster by 8

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan - Following a pair of Western Hockey League pre-season games, the Prince Albert Raiders have reduced their training camp roster by 8, assigning players to their respective teams for the 2009-10 season.
The three 15 year-old players that were with the Raiders for the first two pre-season games, forwards Mike Winther and Shane Danyluk and defenceman Connor Sutton are among those released. Those three are eligible to return to the team for a maximum of 5 regular season games. Others released are 16 year-olds; goaltender Eric Williams, defenceman Matt Waselynko and forwards TJ Constant, Daniel Dale and Beau Stewart.
The move reduces the Raiders training camp roster to 27: 3 goaltenders, 10 defencemen and 14 forwards. The Raiders return to pre-season action Friday hosting the Medicine Hat Tigers at 7:00 PM at the Art Hauser Centre.
