Prince Albert SK - The Prince Albert Raiders announced Monday that they have recalled 15-year-old goaltender Nick McBride from the Vancouver North East Chiefs of the British Columbia Major Midget Hockey League.
The Maple Ridge, BC product played in 19 games in midget hockey this season, recording a 12-7-0 record along with a 3.74 goals against average and helping his team finish 4th overall.
The 6'3", 180-pound netminder was drafted by the Raiders in the second round, 23rd overall in the 2012 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.
McBride joined the team yesterday and will remain with the club until the conclusion of the post season.
The move brings the Raiders playoff roster to a total of 25 players, including 3 goaltenders, 8 defencemen and 14 forwards.
