Prince Albert, Sask. - The Prince Albert Raiders have added 2001-born winger Carter Massier to the roster.

Massier, a 6'2, 190-lb forward from Peace River, Alta., has been playing with the AJHL's Okotoks Oilers. He has three points (one goal, two assists) in three contests with the club.

"Carter is an elite skater," said Raiders General Manager Curtis Hunt. "We feel he can support our club in all dimensions of the game and we're excited to get him here."

Massier is a veteran of 95 WHL contests, all of which came with the Regina Pats after signing with Regina in March of 2018. He posted 13 goals and 27 points with 54 penalty minutes in his WHL career.

Last season in the Subway Hub Centre, Massier tied or set career bests in goals (five), assists (seven), and points (12) while playing in all 24 games.

In a corresponding move, the Raiders have released 2001-born winger Michael Horon.

"We thank Michael for his time with the Raiders on the ice and in our community," Hunt said. "We wish him the best in the future."

The Raiders return to the Art Hauser Centre on Friday night when they take on the Brandon Wheat Kings to start a home-and-home series. Puck drop is 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the Raiders Office and at SaskTix.ca.
