
Rage Raise over $2,000 for Local Children's Charities

St. Charles, MO - The RiverCity Rage of United Indoor Football (UIF) raised over $2,000 for local children's charities with the team's third annual golf tournament last week. Over 80 golfers took part in the event held at Mid Rivers Golf Links in St. Peters, MO. The winning foursome of Dan Emrick, Eric Hoffman, Jerry Thomas, and Steve Lugering, representing St. Peters Golf Course, ran away with the title shooting a 17-under, 54.
The Rage tournament is the first of five in the inaugural St. Charles County Charity Cup Championship. Teams must register for at least three tournaments to qualify for the Bogey Hills Pro-Am Golf Tournament in September. The five tournaments include:

"The Charity Cup is a great program that will help raise money for good causes and also provide a competitive event for all types of golfers," said Dan Emrick, General Manager, American Golf Corporation. "The five events that have joined together are all great fundraisers and they intend on providing all of the players a good time at their events. The RiverCity Rage did an outstanding job with their event and my team is looking forward to competing on June 25th and August 27th to make us eligible for the Charity Cup at The Bluffs Golf Club in September. I encourage everyone to get involved in this very unique program!"
