
Rage Gear-up for Final Two Before All-Star Break

Broomfield, Colo. - In their final two games before the 2007 Central Hockey League All-Star Break, the Rocky Mountain Rage will host the New Mexico Scorpions tomorrow and Saturday at Broomfield Event Center at 7:05 p.m. Rage travel mugs will be given to 2,500 fans tomorrow courtesy of Champion Ford of Boulder.
The Rage enter the weekend with a record of 8-18-4 and in fourth place in the CHL's Northwest Division. They have split their previous two meetings with the Scorpions this season, winning 4-3 in a shootout on Nov. 28 at the BEC before suffering a 4-3 loss in regulation on Dec. 9 at the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, N.M.
Mark Wires, the team's leading scorer with 24 points (10g-14a), will represent the Rage at the All-Star Game on Jan. 17 in Bossier-Shreveport, La. He will then meet the club in South Texas where Rocky Mountain begins the second half of the season with games against the Corpus Christi Rayz and Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 19 and 20.
