Rafters Giveaway Nights Set for 2013

Wisconsin Rapids, WI-Monday, April 22nd. With single game tickets going on sale on Saturday, April 27th, the Rafters continue to unveil their promotional schedule. Today the Rafters announced some of the great giveaway items planned for 2013.

On Wednesday, May 29th the Rafters take on the Lakeshore Chinooks at 7:05pm. Not only is this the 2013 Rafters Home Opener, but the Rafters will be giving out magnet schedules to all fans in attendance.

Charter Communications will be the presenting sponsor of the Friday, May 31st game as the Rafters battle the Wisconsin Woodchucks at 7:05pm. This night will feature the annual Charter Communications Hat Giveaway.

Sunday, June 9th will feature the first ever Point Insurance and Rafters Baseball Can Koozie giveaway. The can koozie looks like a baseball and is a great way to keep your favorite beverage cool.

Come out to the ballpark on Thursday, July 11th and watch the Rafters take on the Green Bay Bullfrogs at 7:05pm. This night will be presented by NAPA Auto Parts and Auto Care Centers and will include a reusable Rafters and NAPA Auto Parts water bottle. The water bottle will have a flip top lid for ease of drinkability.

Wednesday, July 17th, will be the second Paul Gross Jewelers Princess Night! All fans should dress in their best prince and princess attire. Young girls through the gates that night will receive a crown, courtesy of Paul Gross Jewelers. Hair and nail stations will be set up at the ballpark for the young princesses.

Solarus Night will be Tuesday, July 30th as the Rafters host the St. Cloud Rox at 7:05pm. The fourth annual Solarus Night will also feature 2013 Rafters Trading Cards. For TV, internet and phone, visit Solarus at www.solarus.net.

Bring your dog to the park on Thursday, August 1st as the Rafters partner with Quality Feed and Seed to host "Bark in the Park" Night. In addition to dogs at the ballpark, the Rafters will be giving away dog bandanas. Each bandana will include a coupon for Quality Feed and Seed and a chance to register to win a grand prize.

Monday, August 5th will be Schoep's Ice Cream Superhero Night. Kids dressed in superhero customs will be admitted into the game for free. This night will also feature superhero music and ice cream specials.

The final regular season home game is set for Sunday, August 11th when the Rafters host the Battle Creek Bombers at 5:05pm. Make plans to join us for Luke A. Weiland Attorney at Law Team Poster and Fan Appreciation Night. Posters of the 2013 team will be given out to all fans in attendance. Special giveaways will also be distributed all night long.

The Northwoods League has more teams, plays more games, and draws more fans than any other Summer Collegiate League in North America. In 2013 the Northwoods League will celebrate its 20th season. Opening Day at historic Witter Field is scheduled for Wednesday, May 29th at 7:05 pm against the Lakeshore Chinooks.
