Racing Louisville placed goalkeeper Jordyn Bloomer on the season-ending injury list, the club announced Friday.
Bloomer, 25, suffered a back injury in the spring and was previously on the 45-day injured list before the SEI designation. She started the rehabilitation process in Louisville and continues to work with Racing's medical and training staff toward a return to full participation.
In her second year with Racing, Bloomer has made one UKG NWSL Challenge Cup appearance in 2022 and started one of Louisville's matches at the Portland Thorns' preseason tournament in March. A Wisconsin native and former University of Wisconsin star, Bloomer was a second-round pick in the 2022 NWSL Draft.
This past winter, Racing loaned Bloomer to Australian club Western Sydney Wanderers, which plays in the the A-League Women. She made 14 starts for Western Sydney, posting four clean sheets.
