MONARCHS CALDER CUP FUN FACTS
Back From Injury - Monarchs defenseman Thomas Hickey and center Marc-Andre Cliche returned to the line-up this week following injuries. Hickey has been sidelined for most of the season due to injuries but re-joined the Monarchs for game three and brought new life to the line-up. Cliche suffered a lower body injury in game six of the Worcester series but returned to Manchester's roster for game four against Hershey to help lead the Monarchs to victory.
Streak Is Over - Manchester ended Bears center Keith Aucoin's 12-game assist and point streak on Tuesday. The Monarchs held Hershey to only 18 shots and shut them out 1-0 in game four of the series. Aucoin's league leading 12-game streak ended with 16 assists and 17 points dating back to game one of Hershey's division semifinal on April 14.
Can They Make It Three? - The Monarchs have won the last two games of the Eastern Conference Final to bring the series with the Bears to a 2-2 tie. Hershey has not lost more that two-games in a row all season long, both regular season and post-season.
