Reading, PA -- The Reading Phillies woes at home continued on Sunday.

Chris Cates ripped a leadoff double in the seventh inning and scored the go-ahead run on a Nate Hanson sacrifice fly, and the New Britain Rock Cats earned a three-game series sweep of the Reading Phillies on Father's Day with a 5-3 victory.

Reading (35-33) lost their fourth-straight game, and have now gone just 17-19 at home this season. Reading starter Austin Hyatt allowed three runs on five hits over five innings, but did not factor in the decision. The Atlanta, Georgia native fanned six batters.

The loss went to LHP Les Walrond (2-1, 3.24), who allowed the sacrifice fly to Hanson in the seventh. In all, Walrond allowed one run on two hits over two innings. He also fanned three batters.

Philadelphia Phillies catcher Brian Schneider, who is on a Major League rehab assignment, started behind the plate and went 2-4 with an RBI. The 34-year-old backstop played seven innings, and is scheduled to be back in Baseballtown on Monday.

Taking the ball for Reading in Monday's series opener will be RHP Tyson Brummett (2-4, 3.17). Brummett, 26, will make his fourth start of the season on Monday, and will look for his second win as a starter this year. In his last outing, Brummett allowed one run over four innings of work. As a starter, he is 1-0 with a 0.75 ERA.

On the hill for Erie will be RHP Jared Gayhart (2-0, 4.08). Gayhart, a product of Rice University, will make just his second start of the season.

Coverage begins with the R-Phils pre-game show at 6:35 p.m. on ESPN Radio 1240 AM WIOV and readingphillies.com. Brian Seltzer will have the call for all of the action. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.

Phillers... Freddy Galvis had three hits... Steve Susdorf went 2-4 with a run and a stolen base... The R-Phils wore special Father's Day jerseys on Sunday to help promote Prostate Cancer Awareness... The jerseys were also auctioned and raffled off, with proceeds benefiting Us Too, Prostate Cancer Support Network...On Monday, the first 3,000 adults will receive a Cole Hamels Garden Gnome, thanks to Unique Pretzels.
