
Qwest Arena enters new era in ticketing

BOISE, Idaho - Qwest Arena will begin selling tickets through a new, more efficient ticketing system as the facility is partnering with New Era Tickets, a subsidiary of Philadelphia-based Comcast-Spectacor, to sell tickets for all events in the 5,000-6,500 seat multi-purpose sports and entertainment facility. The new ticketing system will be implemented on Thursday, June 1st, 2006.
"As operators of Qwest Arena we found it necessary to partner with a new, up-and-coming ticketing company which will cater to our customers' needs and get tickets into their hands in a more efficient manner," said Glenn Stanford, President of Qwest Arena.
"New Era Tickets will allow Qwest Arena customers the convenience of purchasing tickets with many new and exciting opportunities to enhance their purchasing experience," said New Era Tickets President Fred Maglione.
New Era Tickets will offer customers in the Boise area a more personalized service and features not currently available to the on-line ticket buyer, including print at home tickets, ticket forwarding and additional conveniences.

"It's extremely important for us that our customers have the ultimate experience each and every time they visit Qwest Arena. That experience begins with the ticket purchase. New Era Tickets offers numerous options and tremendous convenience and we are looking forward to working together to serve our customers and clients."
New Era Tickets specializes in providing innovative technological solutions for Box Office management, event management, and customer communications as well as offer a full service ticket and marketing product for public assembly facilities, show promoters, sports teams, theaters, and entertainment organizations.
All Qwest Arena tickets will be available on-line at www.qwestarenaidaho.com over the phone at 208-331-TIXS (8497) or toll free at 888-330-TIXS (8497), and at the Qwest Arena Box Office.
Tickets for upcoming events will be available through New Era Tickets beginning on Thursday, June 1st, 2006.
Dubbed "Idaho's Premier Professional Sports Arena," Qwest Arena, located in Downtown Boise, is just steps away from shopping, restaurants, and other local businesses. Qwest Arena has seating for up to 5,000-6,500 people with 39 luxury suites. The facility is home to the Idaho Steelheads (ECHL), Idaho Stampede (NBADL), boxing, concerts, trade shows, conventions and other sporting events.
