
Quakes U-18s Finish Weekend Strong

San Jose Earthquakes News Release
The Earthquakes Academy played a full slate of games over the weekend throughout the state of California. On Saturday, the Quakes' U-12s, U-13s and U-14s all faced Santa Rosa United here in the Bay Area. The U-12s won 4-3 in the first match of a doubleheader, before falling 2-0 in the second. The U-13s played to a scoreless draw and the U-14s earned a dominant 3-0 victory.
The Quakes' U-16s and U-18s both traveled to Santa Ana to take on Strikers FC. The U-16s fell 3-2 and the U-18s dropped their match 4-1. The two teams then traveled to UC Irvine to face Pateadores on Sunday, with the U-16s falling 2-0 and the U-18s winning 2-1. Arda Bulut, Alexander Guevara and Amado Lozano each scored over the weekend for the eldest Earthquakes' side.
This coming weekend, only the Quakes' U-12, U-13 and U-14 sides will be in action against Marin FC Alliance. The U-12s will play a doubleheader at Vista Montana Park in San Jose, while the U-13s and U-14s play a single match each at Mustang Soccer Complex in Danville.
