Quakes team with LA Kings on package deal

Rancho Cucamonga, CA- The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes have teamed up with the Los Angeles Kings to offer a great package deal that can help fans say goodbye to hockey while saying hello to a new season of baseball.

For just $119, Kings and Quakes fans have a unique opportunity to purchase two upper box seats for the Kings game on Thursday, March 29th against the Vancouver Canucks, along with two club seat vouchers good for ANY Quakes game during the 2007 season (except July 3rd). Game time for the March 29th Kings-Canucks contest is 7:30 at the Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles. The package deal also includes two LA Kings hats, two Quakes hats, and a food pack for each game including hot dogs and sodas for two at the Kings game, and hot dogs, sodas, and snacks for two at the Quakes game. The Kings game against the Canucks is notable as current Kings head coach Marc Crawford coached the Canucks for seven seasons and played for the Canucks after being drafted in the 1980 amateur draft. In addition, the Canucks are leading their division and fighting for one of the top playoff spots in the Western Conference. LA Kings rookie Anze Kopitar, the only NHL player from Slovenia, is under consideration for the NHL Rookie of the Year award and provides promise for the Kings' future success.

The Quakes are expected to have several of the Angels top prospects on their roster this season. Many recent Quakes, such as Mike Napoli, Ervin Santana, Howie Kendrick, Francisco Rodriguez, and others have gone on to contribute to the Angels' recent success at the big league level.
