Quakes Begin Four-Game Homestand Today

Rancho Cucamonga, CA- The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes open a four-game homestand at the Epicenter on Thursday, June 18th, as they host the Lake Elsinore Storm to conclude the first half of the season.

On Thursday the ever popular "Thirsty Thursday" presented by Buffalo Wild Wings and X 103.9 will rock the Epicenter. Fans will be able to enjoy discounted beer prices through the conclusion of the fifth inning. Sixteen ounce domestic beers will be $2 and sixteen ounce premium beers will be $3. First pitch is set for 7:05 PM, with gates opening at 6:05 PM. Thursday also marks the beginning of the 2009 Inland Valley Hope Partners Food Drive. Fans are encouraged to bring 10 canned good items to the ballpark through Saturday to support this great cause, and in doing so will receive a free club seat voucher to a future game.

Friday's game with the Lake Elsinore Storm is at 7:35 PM, with gates opening at 6:35 PM, and will feature a Post-Game Fireworks show. Also prior to this game, the Quakes will be hosting a "Writer's Café" event. This unique event will allow fans who purchase a $15 package (ticket included) the opportunity to meet up to 15 Southern California sports and mystery authors, engage in question and answer sessions, and enjoy specially prepared appetizers.

On Saturday the Quakes host the Storm at 7:05 PM and will feature a Post-Game Fireworks show. Saturday is also Cancer Awareness Night, where survivors will be honored and information tables will be set up in the concourse by various local cancer organizations. Gates open at 6:05 PM.

Sunday's game with Lake Elsinore is at 2:05 PM, with gates opening at 1:05 PM. This Sunday is Father's Day and will feature a Pre-Game Catch on the Field to those father's and their kids who bring a ball and glove to the Epicenter. "Kids Sundays" are presented by Coco's and Carrows Restaurants, as well as Radio Disney 1290. After the game, all kids 12 and under can run the bases.
