Quad City Riverhawks News Release
Quad Cities, IL. The ABA Quad Cities professional basketball team has announced the hiring of Acie Earl as Vice President of Basketball Operations and Assistant Coach. According to Tom McGinn, team owner, "This is a great hire for our team for many reasons. Acie is originally from the Quad Cities playing high school ball locally for Moline. Then, he went on to play college ball for the Iowa Hawkeyes and played and coached professional basketball, including in the ABA. He has been around pro ball for over 15 years and he will be a great fit for our team and we feel that his experience as a player and coach will help out team be very successful. And of course, we're excited to bring a great local play back into the community."
The team will be announcing additional staff, tryouts and venue shortly. For more information, email tom@247directories.com or visit www.abalive.com.
