Port Huron Prowlers News Release

The Elmira Enforcers are winless no more, as they record their first victory of the season in Port Huron Friday night.

Elmira came out firing in the first period. Glen Patterson would break the ice on a power play goal to make it 1-0. Two more goals would be scored 52 seconds. Sean Reynolds would get one of his two goals on the evening and Kyle Stevens would make it 3-0 to end the first period.

Dmytro Babenko picks up two assists on the first two goals of the game.

An ugly start for Port Huron motivated the Prowlers to come out swinging in the middle frame. Joe Pace Jr. assists on Matyas Kasek's goal 46 seconds into the 2nd period. Port Huron cut Elmira's lead to 1 on a shorthanded goal from Matt Graham roughly seven minutes later and that's as close as the Prowlers would get to try and muster a comeback.

Sean Reynolds nets his 2nd goal of the game a minute after Graham's and Elmira wouldn't look back tallying two more goals in the third for a 6-3 final.

Elmira goes for the weekend sweep tomorrow night at 7 P.M. in Port Huron.
