Privateers Proud To Host Hutch Tourney Pep Rally

The 1000 Islands Privateers are pleased to announce that they will serve as the Official Pep Rally for the 2011 Eric Hutchinson Memorial Tournament. The pep rally will take place on Saturday, January 8th as the Privateers take on the Akwesasne Warriors at the Bonnie Castle Rec Center for what could be first place in the Federal Hockey League standings. The game starts at 7 PM and the 11 teams participating in the Hutch Tournament will be recognized at the second intermission. The team will also be sponsoring the most valuable player awards for the tournament. The Hutch Tournament takes place this Saturday and Sunday, with games at Bonnie Castle and the Alexandria Bay Municipal Rink on Bolton Avenue. The team will also recognize participants in the Ed Lupia Memorial Tournament at the first intermission. Come out to the game and support the youth players in the community!

The 1000 Islands Privateers operate in Alexandria Bay and are a founding franchise in the Federal Hockey League. The Privateers play at the Bonnie Castle Recreation Center in Alexandria Bay. ‚¬Å“The future is now ‚¬Â in the Federal Hockey League as the top talent play professional hockey with a chance to advance their careers.
