Pride Announce 2007 Schedule

New Jersey Pride News Release
CLIFTON - The New Jersey Pride, the Garden State's only professional lacrosse team, announced today the team's 2007 schedule, which has the team opening on Saturday, May 19 at home against the Washington Bayhawks.
"We are very excited for the upcoming season, and we look forward to getting off to another strong start at home against Washington,'' said General Manager Trey Reeder.
The Pride will play host to all five of its opponents from the original six MLL teams - Washington, Rochester, Philadelphia, Boston and Long Island - as well as take on the expansion Chicago Machine in one of two contests against West Coast teams. New Jersey will fly to Los Angeles on Memorial Day Weekend.
All home contests will begin at 7:30 p.m.
After opening the season at home against Washington, the Pride go on the road to play Los Angeles, Washington and Rochester before returning home for a game against the Machine on June 16. After heading up to Boston for a game against the Cannons the following weekend, the Pride return home for the back end of a home-and-home with Boston on June 30.
The team has its bye week the first weekend in July, followed by home contests against Philadelphia and Long Island. The season's final three games have the Pride on the road at Philadelphia, before a home game with Rochester and a final contest on the road at Long Island on August 11.
