Pride Players Join with Symmetry in Youth Clinic

Pelham, NY - The New Jersey Pride and Symmetry Physical Therapy and Sports Enhancement Facility teamed up for a youth clinic in Pelham, New York this past Sunday. Youth players, parents and coaches assembled at Pelham High School to enhance their knowledge of the game, and learn lacrosse related exercises.

Chris Lauretani, the President of Symmetry Physical Therapy, spearheaded this event. His thriving physical therapy and sports enhancement clinic in Pelham, NY strives to provide comprehensive and individualized treatment to the public, while maintaining high standards and utilizing advanced treatment techniques.

Lauretani educated the youth lacrosse players on the importance of athletic enhancement training in order to prevent injury. The children practiced agility drills, effectively breaking down their runs, and core strength exercises.

Rookies Stephen Peyser and Tony McDevitt joined seasoned veteran Ryan McClay to instruct 60 elementary school students on the game of lacrosse as well as the importance of excelling in the classroom.

Pride defenseman, and MLL's Defenseman of the Week, Ryan McClay and rookie Tony McDevitt instructed the youth players on defensive positioning, athletic stance, and groundball technique. Stephen Peyser led the offensive station with a shooting drill.

The highlight of the event for the youth was the meet and greet with the three Pride players. The kids were given the chance to ask the players questions, take photos and get autographs.
