Chicago Machine Pro Lacrosse to Host New Trier vs. Loyola Academy Alumni Game
June 24, 2008 - Major League Lacrosse (MLL)
Chicago Machine News Release
Chicago, IL - Located only 3.5 miles from each other, New Trier High School (Winnetka, IL) and Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL) share one of the strongest rivalries in Illinois high school sport. In the last 20 years, either New Trier or Loyola Academy has won the Illinois State boys lacrosse championship 14 times. Amazingly, all other high schools combined have won only 6 state championships, and 5 of those were against either New Trier or Loyola.
This year New Trier and Loyola battled again for the state title. The Trevians won the state championship for the fourth time in a row, the third in a row over Loyola.
Twenty years of alumni pride and ego will be on the line this coming Sunday, June 29, when Chicago Machine Pro Lacrosse hosts a special New Trier/Loyola Academy Alumni Game at TOYOTA PARK as the warm-up to the Machine's home game against the Denver Outlaws.
Fans can catch the action of the alumni game at 1:10 pm followed by the Chicago Machine Pro Game at 3:30 pm. Tickets to both games (General Admission for the Alumni Game, Silver Section for the Pro Game) are $5 for those under the age of 18 and $12 for adults. For one ticket, fans get to experience both games.
Tickets to the June 29 Pro Game between Chicago Machine vs. Denver Outlaws are also still available. Silver tickets are $12 ($5 for youth), $25 for gold tickets and $50 for platinum tickets that are mid-field. Ticket holders can upgrade their seats at TOYOTA PARK to the on-field Bud Light Filling Station, complete with complimentary food and Bud Light, for an additional $25.
To purchase tickets to either game, visit www.chicagomachine.com or call the Chicago Machine at (312) 255-1522.
