SYRACUSE, New York - The Syracuse Silver Knights (11-8, Eastern Division #2) will close out regular season play on Sunday, when it hosts the Detroit Waza Flo (4-14, Eastern Division #4) at the Oncenter War Memorial Arena at 4:00 p.m. EST.
Sunday' s regular season finale is the team' s Green Jersey Game and Auction where match worn jerseys will be auctioned off with portion of the proceeds to benefit the Syracuse St. Patrick's Parade!
The Orange, Silver and Black enters Sunday' s contest needing a win in order to secure the #2 slot in the Eastern Conference. The Rochester Lancers currently hold the #3 seed with a 10-9 record. If they lose to the Baltimore Blast on Sunday, Syracuse will sit above them in the standings, regardless of their result against Detroit.
The MASL postseason begin March 5 in Rochester for Game 1 against the Lancers. SSK are back in the War Memorial March 8, Sunday, at 4:00 p.m. EST. The opening round is a Best of 3 series. If the two squads split the first two tilts, there will be a 15-minute mini-match after Game 2.

In their last MASL action, the Knights fell in Game 6 of the Thruway Rivalry to the Lancers 9-7 on Sunday. The loss ended the Salt City side' s four match home winning streak
"It kind of broke our rhythm a little bit, but we wanted to rest some guys," Head Coach Tommy Tanner said. "We split the series with Rochester, so it should set up well for the playoffs."
The Waza Flo enters Sunday' s clash losers of two straight. Milwaukee doubled up Detroit 12-6 last Saturday. Miki Djerisilo leads the Waza with 19 goals and 9 assists.
"We have guys who are knocked up, but we want to make sure we get everybody out there to play," Tanner explained.
It' s just the second all-time meeting between the two outfits. Detroit edged Syracuse 8-6 back on December 6, 2014. Domenico Vitale' s brace wan' t enough to push the Knights ahead.
Sunday' s battle will be broadcast live from the War Memorial on GoLiveSportsCast.com beginning at 4:00 p.m. EST with commentary by JP Chunga and Mike Kirmse. It will be available as on demand content after the completion of the contest.
