
Lancers Military Tribute to Benefit Charity

(Rochester, NY) -- The Rochester Lancers today announced that the team will be wearing custom jerseys in honor of the military at this Sunday's final regular season home game at 4pm, as the Lancers host the Baltimore Blast at the Blue Cross Arena.
The game worn jerseys will be available to fans for purchase in a post-game live auction in the main lobby of the arena. Proceeds from the auction will benefit Children of Fallen Soldiers, a non-profit organization focused on meeting the needs of children who have lost a parent serving in the United States Armed Forces.
This will mark the second custom jersey auction this season, as the Lancers raised $6,000 for the Spirit of Blue in recognition of all first responders in the Rochester community.
The Lancers head into this weekend for their final regular season game of the year. They play top seed Baltimore at the War Memorial on Sunday, March 1 at 4pm. The team will pay tribute to all military as they wear custom camo jerseys that will be auctioned after the game to benefit Children of Fallen Soldiers. The first 1,000 fans will receive a team photo courtesy of Get it Straight Orthodontics! It's also the last chance to win a car, courtesy of Ide Family of Dealerships.
