September 15, 2015 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
OKC Energy FC News Release

OKC Energy FC (12-7-8) closes out its regular season schedule when the club takes on Arizona United SC (10-15-1) in Scottsdale, AZ. Energy FC's last game was a 3-3 tie with USL Western Conference-leading Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC. OKC led the match 3-2 in second-half extra time, when a foul was called in the Energy FC box that resulted in a penalty kick goal for Colorado Springs' Chandler Hoffman and the eventual draw.

OKC forward Danni Konig notched his 21st goal of the season in the match, leaving him a single goal shy of the currently open USL single-season goal record held by Louisville's Matt Fondy.

Energy FC's Casey Townsend also scored his first goal of the season in Saturday's match, while Sebastian Dalgaard tallied his sixth goal of the season to give OKC a late 3-2 lead.

Though Energy FC has clinched a playoff berth, just seven standings points separate the top-seven Western Conference teams. OKC is currently seeded fourth in the conference playoff picture, with the top two finishers receiving byes in the first round of the upcoming playoffs. The top four teams are guaranteed a home playoff game.
