Preview - Bees, Revolution Battle in Afternoon Rubber Game

Series: York took the second game of three last night 8-4, tying the series after the Bees took the opening game 1-0. The Bees have a 3-6 record against the Revolution this season.

The Bees: Michael Crouse introduced himself to Bees' fans in a big way in his first game with the team last night, going 2-3 with an RBI triple and a run scored. The 25-year-old outfielder enters play this afternoon tied for second in the league in steals with ten.

The Opposition: Acquired on May 19 from the American Association's St. Paul Saints, Michael Burgess has shown in three games with the Revolution why he was a former first round selection of the Nationals in 2007. The 27-year-old outfielder is hitting .364 (4-11) with York so far, including a long two-run home run last night vs. the Bees.

Key to the Game- Figure out De La Cruz: In two games (one start) against York pitcher Kelvin De La Cruz, Bees hitters have been unable to figure the left-hander out as he has not allowed a run in seven innings of work while taking on five strikeouts and just five hits allowed. The Bees need to find a way to break through against the tough lefty if they are to take today's rubber game.
