Press Conference Scheduled

Lansing Ice Nuts News Release
The Lansing Ice Nuts of the International Independent Hockey League have scheduled a press conference at the Town Place Suites by Marriott in East Lansing for all media to meet the players, coaching staff and management. Team captains, players and coaching staff will be available for interviews and photographs.
Additionally, the Ice Nuts will unveil their complete home schedule for the 2003-04 season in addition to the new team web site.
The Ice Nuts have played four games thus far in their schedule, including one home game and are a perfect 4-0-0 and lead the newly formed IIHL with 8 pts. They are followed by the Soo City Mavericks (1-1-0) and Northern Michigan Predators (1-4-0) with 2 pts. each.
Lansing will be in home-ice action this weekend with three games at Munn Arena. Friday and Saturday nights will feature a visit by the Mavericks and Sunday will bring the Ohio Valley Ice Cats to town. The meetings with the Mavericks will be the first this season between these two teams. All home games are 7:30 PM puck drop.
The Ice Nuts feature local players Brian Billiard, Tim Nelson and Damon Whitten, who played four seasons with the Michigan State Spartans between 1997-2001 and served as assistant captain.
