PITTSBURGH - Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC enters its fifth and final week of preseason with 17 players under contract and an additional number invited on trial.

The Week Ahead
Pittsburgh will wrap up its preseason schedule with two matches this week. The team will first travel to face Columbus Crew SC at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 2 at Obetz Training Center before hosting Toronto FC II at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 7 at Highmark Stadium.
The match against Crew SC is closed to the public. However, the Hounds' home match against Toronto FC II is open to the public and free to attend.
In 2019, Columbus Crew SC recorded a 10-16-8 overall record. The MLS squad met Riverhounds SC in the fourth round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and defeated Pittsburgh, 1-0.
Meanwhile, Toronto FC II completed its first season at the USL League One level with a 9-9-10 overall record. The squad finished seventh of 10 teams in the league.
Last Week
The Hounds tied USL Championship side Loudoun United FC, 1-1, this past Wednesday at Highmark Stadium. Rookie striker Lukas Fernandes scored the goal for the club. Pittsburgh currently holds a 2-1-3 record this preseason.

The Hounds will host their 2020 regular season home opener at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 21 at Highmark Stadium against Louisville City FC. Fans can purchase tickets at ticketmaster.com.
