
Predators outshine Stars of Northwest Indiana

The Sauk Valley Predators met the Northwest Indiana Stars for their second road trip of the season. The Predators captured their third win with a final score of 151-107. The Predators were down in the beginning of the first quarter 13-9, but took charge by the 2nd half and won the game 151-107.
Predators' Desmond Holloway led the team with 31 points and 11 rebounds. Herman Favors followed with 29 points and Carlton Fay ended with 21 points. The Predators shot 60% from the field and over 82% from the line.
Northwest Indiana Stars were led by Eldridge with 30 points. The Stars shot 44% from the field and 80% from the line.
"The night couldn't have gone any better", stated Brad and Leah Grenoble, owners of the Predators, "we wanted to come off the road with a 3-0 record". "The Sauk Valley community has been so supportive that we wanted to ensure we were ready for the two home games this coming weekend". The Sauk Valley Predators play at the Homer Musgrove Fieldhouse this Friday night, January 20th at 6:30 p.m., where the Stars will travel to Sterling. Friday's game is Teachers' Appreciation Night. On Sunday, January 22nd the Predators will host Central Illinois Drive from Bloomington. The Predators and the Drive are the only two undefeated teams remaining in the Premier Basketball League. Sunday's match-up starts at 6:30 and is Healthcare Appreciation Night. Tickets will be sold at the door and gates will open at 5:30 both nights.
