Bloomington PrairieThunder News Release
Staff members from the Bloomington PrairieThunder Hockey Team, including General Manager Jim Riggs, will be participating in the Boy Scouts of America Midnight Golf event this Friday, July 30th at the Lakeside Country Club, located at 1201 East Croxton Avenue in Bloomington.
The PrairieThunder organization has sponsored a hole and will have games and prizes on Friday evening. The Midnight Golf event is an annual fund raiser for the Boy Scouts of America. The funds that are raised give at risk youth in the Bloomington area the opportunity to participate in scouting.
Tee off for the Midnight Golf event begins at 8:30pm. Those participating will be golfing with glowing LED golf balls which should make for a fun time for all involved.
The Bloomington PrairieThunder Hockey Team begins their "Fifth Anniversary Season" in October. Season tickets and group ticket packages for the 2010-2011 seasons are now on sale at the team's offices located at 318 W. Washington Street, Suite 1NW, in downtown Bloomington. For additional information, please call the PrairieThunder at 309-585-0507.
