BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Bloomington PrairieThunder faces a busy and challenging week, taking on International Hockey League co-leader Port Huron twice at U.S. Cellular Coliseum and Fort Wayne on the road.

The PrairieThunder meets Port Huron, which begins the week tied for the league lead with Muskegon, Wednesday and Saturday at U.S. Cellular Coliseum. Both games begin at 7:05 p.m. Sandwiched in between is a 7 p.m. contest Friday at Fort Wayne's Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.

Bloomington starts the week with a 14-11-2-2 record and 32 points, good for fourth place. The PrairieThunder is 11-3-2-0 at home and 58-61-7-4 overall at U.S. Cellular Coliseum.

The PrairieThunder has faced Port Huron three times and has a 1-0-1-1 record. The IceHawks have a 22-8-0-1 record (45 points) with a sterling 14-2 mark at home and an 8-6-0-1 record on opponent's ice.

Bloomington is 2-3 against Fort Wayne with two of the losses coming on the road. The PrairieThunder is 3-8-0-2 away from home. The Komets begin the week four points ahead of the PrairieThunder in the standings and are 9-3-0-1 at home.

Radio:

All road games can be heard on WTRX (93.7 FM) and home games can be heard on wjbc.com. Greg Halbleib has the call.

B2 network:

The Fort Wayne game can be seen live on the b2 network at Six Strings Entertainment Center, 512 N. Main Street, Bloomington. Doors open two hours prior to broadcast. Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult.
