Pr: Suns Extend Broadcast Agreement With Clear Channel Radio

JACKSONVILLE, FL - The Jacksonville Suns and Clear Channel Radio have entered into an agreement to air the play-by-play broadcasts of Jacksonville Suns baseball on WFXJ-AM 930 "The Fox" during the 2010 season.

The 2010 season will be the tenth consecutive year that Suns baseball has aired on WFXJ-AM 930. 2008 Southern League Radio Broadcaster of the Year J.P. Shadrick will handle play-by-play duties in 2010 for his fifth season as the "Voice of the Suns" on Jacksonville's top-rated sports station.

"I am thrilled to be with Clear Channel again for the 2010 season," Jacksonville Suns Radio Broadcaster J.P. Shadrick said. "The Suns and 930 The Fox have had a lengthy relationship and I look forward to another championship season on the airwaves."

All 140 games, along with any postseason action, will stream live on the internet at 930thefox.com and also through the Minor League Baseball Multimedia Network at milb.com.

Along with the game broadcasts, the Suns will have increased exposure during drive-time talk shows on 930 The Fox and also on Clear Channel station 99.1 WQIK during The Big Show with Boomer, Robbie Rose and Toni Foxx.

The Jacksonville Suns are the Double-A Affiliate of the Florida Marlins and are proud members of the Southern League of Professional Baseball Clubs. The Suns begin the season with a Major League exhibition against the Florida Marlins on Friday, April 2, followed by the regular-season opener on Thursday, April 8.
