Charleston Dirty Birds News Release

Charleston, WV - The West Virginia Power announced today that they will be throwing a Buffett Party on February 25th. The party will take place at the Power Alley Grill in conjunction with a Charleston Area Alliance Business After Hours and will feature live music by "The Buffettman." The party is presented by Landshark Lager, KOMAX Business Solutions, and V100.

Tom Watt, known to his loyal following as "The Buffettman," has been dazzling fans around the U.S. for over a decade. He has performed more than 1,200 shows with his own unique tribute to both the music and spirit of the Jimmy Buffett concert experience. A true Jimmy double (in both looks and voice), Watt began performing his tribute show regularly in Pittsburgh, PA in 1998. By the following year he was performing Buffett's music up and down the east coast.

Since then, Watt has expanded his show with several talented musicians and a repertoire of songs that are sure to satisfy Landsharks everywhere, with performances that range from thrilling trop-rock antics to more intimate acoustic fare full of dynamic harmonies and superb musicianship. His range of tunes includes Buffett favorites like "Margaritaville" and "Fins," to lesser-known gems, such as "Love in the Library," "The Captain and the Kid," and "Coast of Carolina." And let's not forget Buffett concert staples like "Brown Eyed Girl," "Uncle John's Band," and "A Pirate Looks at 40."

Watt and his group can be found regularly touring the country, from Vegas to the east coast, performing their own brand of Buffett in over 20 states each year to the delight of thousands of Parrotheads. And on Thursday, February 25th, The Buffettman and his band will be in Charleston at the West Virginia Power Buffett Party.

The Buffett Party, presented in part by Landshark Lager, will begin at 5:00 PM for members of the Charleston Area Alliance and will open to the public at 8:00 PM. Admission for the public is free. The party will feature margarita specials and $1.50 Landshark drafts beginning at 8:00 PM.
