Charleston, WV (March 18, 2013) - The West Virginia Power announced today the full promotional line-up for the 9th season of Power Baseball. 2013 brings a special for every night of the week. These weekly specials will include:

Monday Family Buck Night with $1.00 tickets, hot dogs, soda, & popcorn; $2.00 Cheeseburgers; presented by 98.7 The Beat & 58WCHS

Tuesday Turn Back the Clock Tuesday with $2.00 fountain & draft beverages presented by 107.3 KROCK

Wednesday Wine Club Wednesday with a $15 ticket special that includes wine & food sampling, prize drawings & more; price wine for Power Wine Club members; presented by V100

Thursday Thirsty Thursday with $1.00 12 oz. draft beer & $2.00 16 oz. cans; presented by 96.1 The Wolf

Friday Friday Night Fireworks; Presented by Suddenlink & V100

Saturday Flat Screen Saturdays with TV Giveaways

Sunday Kids 12 & Under Run the Bases Post-Game

"The 2013 season is once again packed with great promotions and guest appearances you won't want to miss," said Power General Manager Tim Mueller. "In all my years in this industry, this is by far the best promotional line-up I've seen."

In addition to the weekly mainstays, the Power will return their "BIG 12" line-up. These dates will once again feature the biggest 12 promotional nights of the season. These are targeted sellout dates and will feature one fireworks, giveaways and/or appearances!

"We had great success with our `BIG 12' line-up last year and are excited to continue it this season," stated Mueller. "The schedule features the return of our award winning Redneck Night, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, the Laker Girls and several great giveaways including a Geno Smith bobblehead."

The "Big 12" dates and promotions include:

April 4 Opening Night/Magnet Schedule Giveaway/Fireworks

April 19 NBA Night/Jerry West Jersey Giveaway/Laker Girls Appearance

May 18 WVU Night/Geno Smith Bobblehead Giveaway/Flat Screen Saturday

May 24 Redneck Night/Appearance by the General Lee/Redneck Giveaway/Redneck Wedding/Fireworks

June 6 NASCAR Night/Appearance by Bobby Dale Earnhardt & Truck/NASCAR Simulators

June 8 Chuck's Birthday/Bike Giveaway/Appearances by Yo Gabba Gabba's Plex and Patrick from Spongebob

Squarepants & Diego from Go Diego Go!/Flat Screen Saturday

June 20 West Virginia Day/ 150th Anniversary Celebration ft. Post-Game Fireworks

July 4 July 4th Celebration/Fireworks/Post-Game Concert ft. the Davisson Brothers Band

July 6 Reality TV Night/Flat Screen Saturday

August 1 NFL Night/Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Appearance

The "BIG 12" ticket package has returned for the 2013 season. The package includes a Box Seat ticket to each "Big 12" game, five guaranteed giveaway items per account, access to the Meet the Team Party, one ticket to the WVU vs. Texas Tech game March 23rd, the opportunity to take batting practice on the field and more. This ticket package is available now by call 304-344-BATS.

In addition to the "Big 12", other promotions of note include Neighborhood Heroes Night (May 17), Bark-in-the-Park (May 28), Team Card Set Giveaway (June 21), Fan Appreciation Night (August 16) and Back-to-School Night featuring a Lunch Box Giveaway (August 17). Two "save the dates" for parents are Little League Night featuring FREE ADMISSION for youth players in uniform (May 25) and Super Hero Night with FREE ADMISSION for kids 12 and under in costume (July 5).

The Power Box Office is now open Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM and 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM on Saturdays. All single game tickets are available online at wvpower.com or over the phone at 304-344-BATS (2287). Fans can save $2.00 per ticket by ordering at least 24 hours an advance.
