New York Power News Release
New York, NY - The New York Power announced today the unveiling of the team's new Mobile Marketing Tour - which features two wrap designed New York Power vans making over 200 stops to sporting and non-sporting events throughout the greater New York area. Lead Dog Marketing Group will execute the van tour.
The Power Patrol will begin March 1, kicking off at the Long Island Junior Soccer League Convention, and run through the end of July. The two specially designed vans will roll out portable soccer fields for interactive games and contests and feature a full sound system with music, contests and live microphone announcements.
"The mobile tour enables us to bring a little part of the Power to fans throughout the tri-state area," said Power VP of Marketing and Ticket Sales, Brian Snerson. "The Power Patrol will spread the message that in addition to world class soccer we offer fun, affordable and interactive entertainment for fans of all ages"
"We're very excited that the Power have shown the confidence in LeadDog to execute this promotion," stated LeagDog President and CEO Dan Mannix. "We are looking forward to achieving the awareness, excitement and ultimately ticket sales the team has envisioned."
In addition, to the special prizes and obstacle course contest, fans will have the opportunity to have their picture taken with players and the team mascot at select venues during the Power Patrol visit. Fans can then later view those photos via the New York Power website through an interactive photo promotion from Wishoo Inc.
"We're excited to have our photo promotion involved in the Power Patrol tour," added Wishoo CEO John Wechsler, "Our services are a natural fit for sports franchises, and we look forward to helping the Power meet their - 'goals'."
The Cayman Islands Department of Tourism will be sponsoring the New York Power Patrol Mobile Tour. As part of their sponsorship, the New York Power will be collecting entries at each mobile tour stop to give a family of four a chance to win a trip to the Cayman Islands at a halftime contest during the New York Power season.
