Stockton Ports News Release

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Ports will have its team cap broadcast nationwide on Wednesday, November 14th on NBC's primetime drama "Life". The new hit series airs locally at 10 p.m. on NBC's Sacramento affiliate KCRA-3.

The cap will be displayed and talked about while it is used as a clue to solve a crime in the episode. In addition to the Ports cap, the show will also feature caps from other California League teams, including the Modesto Nuts, Visalia Oaks, Bakersfield Blaze, and Lancaster JetHawks. It's believed that this is the first time the Ports have been featured on National TV.

"Life" is a new NBC drama about a detective who is given a second chance. Damian Lewis ("Band of Brothers") stars as complex, offbeat detective Charlie Crews, who returns to the police force after 12 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit. The show also stars Brooke Langton ("Friday Night Lights", "Swingers"), Sarah Shahi ("Old School"), and Adam Arkin ("The West Wing", "Boston Legal").

Ports merchandise is available in person at the Ports Team Store at Banner Island Ballpark, or online at stocktonports.com.

Ticket and group packages for the 2008 season are available now, and can be purchased by contacting the Ports front office at (209) 644-1900.
