TRENTON, MI - The Port Huron Fighting Falcons were unable to earn their first road victory as they hit the road to take on the Motor City Metal Jackets over the holiday weekend. The Fighting Falcons fell 4-2 on Friday and 8-2 Sunday.

Power play goals by Jeremy Humenny and Ryan Green gave Port Huron a 2-0 lead in the second period of Friday's game, but four unanswered Motor City goals secured a win for the Metal Jackets. George Malliaras and Louis Educate assisted on the goals for the Fighting Falcons.

Port Huron was outshot 36-20 on Friday, with goalie Tyler Last turning away 32 Motor City shots in the loss.

The Metal Jackets capitalized on Fighting Falcons penalties Sunday, converting on six of their first eight power play opportunities en route to their 8-2 victory. Humenny and Educate scored for Port Huron, with Max Douglas, George Malliaras and Eric Soderlund earning assists.

Tyler Last and Mason Murovich saw time in net for the Fighting Falcons, allowing just two even-strength goals on the night.

The Fighting Falcons will play just one game this week, as they travel to Flint to take on the Michigan Warriors Friday at 7 p.m. In their last trip to Perani Arena, Port Huron played their first ever overtime game, falling 5-4 in a shootout. Louis Educate set a team record with four goals in the game on November 12.

The team returns to McMorran Arena December 10 and 11 to take on the Traverse City North Stars. Each game will begin at 7:11 p.m. Saturday's game features the Teddy Bear Toss, during which fans are asked to bring a stuffed toy to toss onto the ice following Port Huron's first goal. All toys will be donated to Toys for Tots.

With 16 home games remaining on the schedule, the Fighting Falcons have slashed their season ticket prices. A Center Ice ticket package for the rest of the season is now just $100, while Attack Zone packages have been reduced to $80. Don't miss your chance to take advantage of the best deal of the season.
