Pontiff Classic Postponed by Rain

Metairie, LA - Rain has forced the postponement of Wednesday's Wally Pontiff, Jr. Classic between the University of Southern Mississippi and Louisiana State University . The game has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 9 at 7:00 p.m.

Due to previously scheduled games, the Wally Pontiff, Jr. Classic will now feature LSU against Southern University.

After heavy rains throughout the night and into the morning, both teams were forced to make an early decision on the status of the game due to travel constraints. With the forecast of rain persisting through the evening, the decision was made to postpone the contest.

Fans with tickets can redeem them to the rescheduled game on Tuesday.
