Halifax Mooseheads News Release
Individual game tickets for games 1 and 2 of the Halifax Mooseheads first playoff series go on sale to the general public on Tuesday March 18 at 9am. Game 1 is scheduled for Friday March 21 at the Metro Centre at 7pm and Game 2 is scheduled for Saturday March 22 at the Metro Centre at 7pm. As of today potential first round opponents are the PEI Rocket, Victoriaville Tigres or the Val d'Or Foreurs. Tickets can be purchased at the Ticket Atlantic Box Office, Select Superstore Outlets, www.ticketatlantic.com or by calling 451-1221.
With victories last Saturday in Moncton and Sunday in PEI the Mooseheads secured home ice advantage for the first two rounds of the QMJHL playoffs. The Mooseheads can finish no lower than 2nd in the Eastern Division. Halifax can wrap up first place with any combination of two victories by the Mooseheads or two losses by the second place Saint John Sea Dogs. Halifax and Saint John meet in the final game of the regular season on Sunday March 16 at 2pm at the Halifax Metro Centre. The first place finisher in the Atlantic Conference will secure home ice advantage until at least the league final.
There will be no live television broadcasts of Mooseheads' first round home playoff games in the Halifax Regional Municipality.
