Playoff Fate at Stake as Lions Return Home to Battle Stampeders

B.C. Lions News Release

(Vancouver)- With their backs against the wall following a pair of tough losses in Southern Ontario, the BC Lions (4-8-0) return home to take on the Calgary Stampeders (6-6-0) this Friday, November 12th presented by CIMS and Securiguard. Kickoff is 7:30 pm at BC Place.

The scenario for the motivated Lions is simple: they must win in order to keep their playoff hopes alive in this tight Western Division race.

A victory in their final two contests combined with a Stampeders loss to Winnipeg next week would mean the Lions are in the playoffs for the 22nd time in the last 24 seasons.

These clubs have split their two previous meetings in 2021 with the Lions prevailing 15-9 at McMahon Stadium on August 12th and Calgary winning in the last matchup at BC Place on October 16th.

Join us as for our Salute To Service where we welcome hundreds of members of the BC/Yukon Command Royal Canadian Legion in addition to 150 members of the Canadian Armed Forces.

The National Anthem will feature Sergeant Cindy Scott of the Royal Canadian Air Force Band as well as the Colour Guard. Fans can also stay in their seats at halftime for the White Spot Pipe Band performing their 4/4 March Set as we pay tribute to those who have served Canada.
