RATTLERS IN REVIEW: The playoff-guaranteed Rattlers come into this week's game after losing their first game of the season against Los Angeles last week. In the game, they compiled four sacks and held the Avengers to 245 total yards. Siaha Burley made six catches for 101 yards and three touchdowns in his first game with the Rattlers since 2005. Wendall Gaines had three sacks on the day, upping his Rattler career record to 26.

RATTLERS WILL MAKE THE PLAYOFFS. GUARANTEED. The playoff-guaranteed Arizona Rattlers have made sports history this season: the team has guaranteed their season ticket holders a trip to the playoffs, or a full refund...no strings attached.

THE SERIES: The Arizona Rattlers and the San Jose SaberCats renew the most storied rivalry in the history of the AFL. The teams have played a total of 31 times, including twice in the ArenaBowl, with five championships between the two teams in the past 14 years. San Jose currently leads the series 17-14 and is riding a five game win streak against the Rattlers and has won seven of the last eight. San Jose won the last meeting 66-26 in San Jose on June 16, 2007. The teams have also met in the playoffs five times, with the SaberCats winning four of five. The SaberCats beat the Rattlers in ArenaBowl XVI in 2002 52-14 and again in ArenaBowl XVIII in 2004 69- 62. The Rattlers won nine of the first 11 contests, including a 43-37 overtime victory in the first game of the series on May 12, 1995 in San Jose.
