Missoula PaddleHeads News Release
Missoula, MT- The Missoula PaddleHeads were off to a great start in game 5 of a 6 game set opposite the Idaho Falls Chukars. Missoula's offense got out to a hot start for the second consecutive night tallying 10 hits over the first 3 innings of play to grab an early 6-0 advantage. Mother Nature proved to be the only thing to stop the PaddleHeads attack on this night.
When action was about to begin in the bottom of the fourth, play was initially suspended due to lightning in the area. Then the floodgates opened as a severe thunderstorm moved through the area. Due to this, the decision was made to suspend play on Saturday evening. Action of this suspended game will continue on Sunday afternoon from when play was halted at 2:15 p.m. After playing through the conclusion of that game, these two teams will also play the game originally scheduled for Sunday. This will be a 7 inning affair.
