
Pittsfield Suns Take out the Seacoast Mavericks

Jeff McGarry had four RBIs, sparking the Pittsfield Suns (18-14) to a 6-5 victory over the Seacoast Mavericks (16-16) on Saturday at Wahconah Park.
He singled in the third and fourth innings and doubled in the sixth inning. Dalton Davis racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Seacoast Mavericks. He homered in the seventh innings.
Taso Stathopoulos brought the heat against the Pittsfield Suns during his outing. Stathopoulos held the Pittsfield Suns hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four.
Jacob Williams got the win, running his season record to 2-1. He allowed four runs over 6 2/3 innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered seven hits.
Andrew Schultz (0-1) took the loss for the Seacoast Mavericks. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
