
Pittsburgh Xplosion Reschedule 2006 Tip-Off Reception

PITTSBURGH, October 27, 2006 - The Pittsburgh Xplosion professional basketball team has rescheduled its 2006 Tip-Off Reception for Friday, November 10 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM at the Palomino Restaurant located at Four Gateway Center in downtown. The second annual event is free to the public. The event was previously slated for Friday, November 3.
The evening will feature introductions of Xplosion players and coaches, including new head coach Larry Anderson, along with Armon Gilliam and Bryant McAllister among others. Autograph signings, photo opportunities, prizes, surprises and ticket giveaways will further highlight the event which includes a cash bar and cash menu.
All media members are invited to attend with special provisions to be made in the VIP Area.
The Club 4 Life in Monroeville, Pa., Pittsburgh's premier fitness destination, serves as the Xplosion's training and practice facility. The team opens its 2006-07 Continental Basketball Association season at Albany on December 1 and play its home opener versus the Indiana AlleyCats at Mellon Arena on Wednesday, December 6.
