Pirates to Hold Tryouts

Peoria Rough Riders News Release
The Peoria Pirates, af2 football team, will be holding a tryout at the East Side Centre in East Peoria on Saturday, Nov. 29th. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. All participants will be required to sign a waiver release form prior to participating in try-out. There will be a $50 registration fee.
Participants will be tested in pro-style testing: 40 yd. Dash, standing broad jump, vertical jump, pro shuttle, and bench press. Specific position drills will also be included. The tryout will be held on a tartan basketball floor so please wear appropriate footwear.
The Pirates will commence their 2004 season starting March 13, 2004.
From Eastbound Interstate 74: Take Exit 95C (Camp Street). Follow Camp Street to its intersection with Washington Street. The road will become Washington Street (see below).
From Westbound Interstate 74:Take Exit 96 (Washington Street/Route 8). At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Washington Street. Washington Street will curve to the right. Turn right on Meadow Avenue (Route 150). Travel about 1.5 miles on Meadow Avenue and watch for the large EastSide Centre sign on the left. Turn left into the EastSide Centre main entrance.
