Pirates Sign OL Javion Caldwell

Massachusetts Pirates News Release
The Massachusetts Pirates have signed offensive lineman Javion Caldwell for the 2024 season. Caldwell was a mini-camp participant with the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL) in 2023 and also signed for a short stint with the Edmonton Elks of the Canadian Football League (CFL).
The 6'5", 315 lb. lineman played collegiately in 2022 at NAIA Grand View University where he started 14 games at left tackle and earned Heart of America North All-Conference First Team honors.
From 2018 through 2021 the Chicago, IL native played Division II football at the University of Dubuque. In 2018, he played in three games as a true freshman. In his sophomore season, he started all nine games at left tackle and in 2021 he started in nine more contests.
