Pioneers Release 2003 Schedule

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers News Release
Wilkes-Barre, PA - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers are pleased to announce the team's complete 2003 schedule has been approved by the af2.
"We believe this schedule will enhance the total game experience for our fans," said Pioneers General Manager Rick Sneed. "Most of our home games will now be played on Friday. We've also moved kickoff time up to 7:00pm. Hopefully, these changes will make it more convenient for families during the course of the season."
The Pioneers season begins with an away game Saturday, April 5th against the Greensboro Prowlers. The home opener is scheduled for Friday, April 11th at 7:00pm against the Mohegan Wolves, and will be dedicated to the Pioneers former co-operator and NFL legend Johnny Unitas, who passed away in September of 2002.

Season and group ticket information may be obtained by contacting the Pioneers ticketing department at (570) 270-5811 or (570) 270-3848. Individual game tickets will be available for the general public in March. And don't forget the AFL begins season 17 on NBC Sunday, February 2nd.
