Cortez is also tied for third in the USL Golden Boot race with 17 goals this season.
Reno 1868 FC is currently 5th in the Western Conference with 55 points. They're unbeaten in their last five games and have won three straight coming into the weekend. On Wednesday, Reno 1868 FC won 2-0 on the road against Portland Timbers 2 in route to clinching a playoff spot.
Saturday will be the second meeting this season between Phoenix and Reno 1868 FC. Rising FC won the previous matchup, 1-0, on the road in March. Saturday will be the fourth time these two teams meet in club history. The all-time series has been split 1-1-1.
