Nashville SC News Release
NASHVILLE - B-E-A-UTIFUL. For the second consecutive year, Nashville Soccer Club was represented in Nashville Lifestyles Top 25 Most Beautiful People Issue as midfielder Bolu Akinyode made the prestigious list.
Akinyode, originally from Lagos, Nigeria, has represented Nashville SC well both on and off the field, providing a steady, strong force in the midfield, anchoring one of the best defenses in the USL. He joins head coach Gary Smith, who made the Top-25 list in 2017, as Nashville SC representatives on the list.
"I am very honored to be mentioned on this list alongside some of Nashville's business, entertainment and sports leaders," Akinyode said. "I love living here and being a part of this city's beautiful and diverse culture."
On the field, Nashville has an important game in its #GoldRush to the playoffs on the road on Saturday night against the Richmond Kickers. Kickoff will be at 6 p.m. CST and the game will be broadcast locally on MyTV30 and nationally on ESPN+.
